Self-care days are becoming more and more popular as our days at home have continued to increase. Nothing beats throwing your hair into a bun and indulging into a nice face mask. So my first question for you is which do you prefer, peel-off, sheet or clay masks more? Today we are going to take a peek at all three and I'm going to share my favorite of each type!
Let's start off with what I feel is the most enjoyable face mask to me; the peel-off masks! Mostly because they are so much fun to peel off but also because you can literally feel the mask pulling the impurities out of your skin. Now, I understand that we all have different skin types but here's a look into some of my personal favorites!
Multivitamin Sheet Mask
Sheet masks are something that I feel is a little newer to the realm of face masks. These masks are face-shaped sheets of fabric that is soaked in a nutrient-packed serum. They come individually packed and are made for single use only which makes them easy to use and easy to remove. The biggest downside that I find with them is that they are a one-size-fits-all and we all know that each of our face shapes are different so the fit is typically off.
Right now, my favorite sheet mask is the Multivitamin Mask from Vitamaques. These masks use a serum that contain hyaluronic acid and vitamins B3, B5, B6, C, and E. Now I know we have all seen those commercials with women trying to pronounce hyaluronic .. but let me just tell you that does wonders for your skin! You apply to a clean face and leave on for 20 minutes and VOILA!
My only other "complaint" regarding a sheet mask is they tend to leave my face very "wet" after. They instruct you to rub it into your face but I've always had WAY too much left over for that.. But regardless, they are a very moisturizing and rejuvenating for the skin!
Diamond Glow Peel Off Mask
Peel off face masks work to gently remove the outermost layer of your skin to relieve the dullness and dead skin. This leaves you with a smoother skin texture and can actually assist in fading fine lines and cleaning out your pores. Not to mention they are kind of fun to peel off!

As the mask dries, it will firm up and feel tight. As you peel it off, you can literally FEEL the impurities leaving your face.
