Cheese & Garlic Crack Bread!

If you've never experienced the ooey-gooey goodness of Cheesy Garlic bread, well get your oven ready because you'll be hooked on this recipe in no time! It is the perfect appetizer for a party or get together. Depending on the size and type of loaf that you get, you can feed a pretty sizable amount with this dish. So, let's get cooking!!

This is a pretty easy recipe to work with. All that you really need is a loaf of bread, Vienna or Sourdough tends to work the best, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 stick of butter, fresh chopped parsley and shredded mozzarella cheese. I would say that the most tedious part of this recipe is the cutting of the bread. But we will get to that shortly.

To start, you want to mince your garlic. I used my hand chopper once again (here is the link to it as I forgot to include it on my last recipe!) and you want to set that into a microwaveable bowl that fits the stick of butter as well. Melt the butter with the garlic in the bowl and set aside for a little.

For the bread, you want to cut diagonally then again the opposite way to create little diamonds in the bread. It is IMPORTANT to note that you do not want to cut the whole way through the bread as your garlic/butter mixture will soak the bread and will take away the "pull-apart" fun in the finished product. Once that is done, you will pour the melted butter and garlic into the slots and cover the top of the loaf as well.

The mozzarella cheese comes next! You will do the same as in shoving the cheese into the slots as well. See what I mean with the tedious part of this... The good thing is, it doesn't have to be perfect because once it all melts, it tastes the same! Lastly, top with some parsley! Wrap the loaf in foil and bake at 375 for 15-18 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted!

It is best to serve right away so that the bread is soft and the cheese is gooey! I have to admit, I made this first just to try out and of course ended up with a whole loaf to myself. Fortunately, I was able to self-control, halfway through the loaf that is, and not eat it all! But I promise you that if you bake this for your next gathering, you will certainly satisfy some serious taste buds!

As the holidays continue to roll in, my recipes will be a little more geared towards the holidays foods and spices. Any suggestions, I would love to try them! Also, if you ever give these recipes a try, be sure to tag me in your posts or share how they were!! I love to inspire!!
